Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure M365 Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced technical expertise and guidance for our Microsoft 365 and Exchange environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Azure AD, Office 365 services, Exchange Online, and hybrid deployments, and will be responsible for driving best practices, troubleshooting complex issues, and optimizing our M365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Azure AD, Office 365, and Exchange Online

- Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex M365 and Exchange issues

- Design and implement best practices for M365 security, compliance, and governance

- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of our M365 and Exchange environments

- Collaborate with other teams (e.g., Security, Compliance, Network) to ensure seamless M365 operations

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks

- Mentor and guide junior team members on M365 and Exchange best practices

- Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for IT staff and end-users

- Stay current with the latest M365 and Exchange features, updates, and roadmaps

- Participate in architecture design discussions and provide expert recommendations Required Skills

- Deep expertise in Azure AD, Office 365, and Exchange Online administration and troubleshooting

- Solid understanding of M365 security, compliance, and identity management best practices

- Extensive experience with Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid, and Exchange Server (on-premises)

- Solid knowledge of Azure AD Connect, AD FS, and hybrid identity management

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for M365 and Exchange management and automation

- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Office 365,



Microsoft Compliance, and eDiscovery

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills • Strong communication, documentation, and knowledge sharing abilities Preferred Skills

- Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business

- Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and device management

- Understanding of Microsoft Information Protection and data loss prevention (DLP)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API and custom application development • Exposure to Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Monitor) Desired Certifications

- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-100, MS-101, or MS-102)

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate (MS-500) • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (MS-200, MS-201) • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

Experience

- 8+ years of hands-on experience with M365 and Exchange administration and troubleshooting

- Proven track record of designing and implementing M365 and Exchange solutions at scale

- Deep understanding of M365 and Exchange architecture, security, and compliance

- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior team members
