Manager – Temple & Hospital Campus
We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and hands-on Manager to oversee the overall administrative, operational, and day-to-day functioning of a temple and hospital located within the same campus.
The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the campus, supervising staff and support services, coordinating with temple and hospital personnel, managing facilities and vendors, and maintaining a disciplined, safe, and welcoming environment for devotees, patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall day-to-day operations and administration of the temple and hospital campus.
- Provide leadership and supervision to administrative, maintenance, housekeeping, security, support, and other operational staff.
- Manage staff deployment, duty schedules, attendance, punctuality, discipline, performance, and leave requirements.
- Ensure adequate staffing based on temple activities, hospital requirements, festivals, events, and operational needs.
- Supervise front-office and support personnel and ensure efficient delivery of administrative services.
- Coordinate closely with temple management, priests, hospital staff, devotees, patients, visitors, volunteers, vendors, and service providers.
- Oversee the smooth conduct of religious, cultural, educational, community-service, youth, and special events.
- Ensure effective coordination between the temple and hospital departments and facilitate communication with management.
- Take responsibility for campus maintenance, cleanliness, housekeeping, security, utilities, infrastructure, and general facilities.
- Monitor the functioning of security personnel and ensure appropriate safety and security arrangements across the campus.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external agencies for maintenance, repairs, supplies, equipment,
and other operational requirements.
- Monitor the quality and timely completion of outsourced services and maintenance work.
- Maintain administrative records, registers, reports, schedules, correspondence, and other official documentation.
- Prepare regular operational and administrative reports and provide updates to management.
- Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action, escalating significant matters to management when required.
- Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of campus resources, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist management in planning budgets, procurement requirements, maintenance activities, staffing, and other operational matters.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, safety requirements, and administrative guidelines.
- Maintain a professional, disciplined, peaceful, safe, and service-oriented environment throughout the campus.
- Maintain awareness of and respect for Hindu culture, traditions, religious practices, and temple protocols.
- Be available to handle operational requirements during festivals, special events, emergencies, and other important campus activities.
- Perform other managerial, administrative, and operational duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant managerial/administrative experience is mandatory.
- Freshers are not eligible for this position.
- Preference will be given to retired Army personnel and ex-servicemen,
particularly candidates with experience in administration, personnel management, discipline, facility management, security, or institutional operations.
- Candidates with substantial experience managing large institutions, hospitals, educational institutions, religious organizations, residential campuses, or similar establishments may also apply.
- Strong leadership, staff-management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Office and other computer applications is required.
- The candidate must be capable of independently handling multiple administrative and operational responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are required.
- Candidates should demonstrate integrity, discipline, maturity, professionalism, accountability, and a service-oriented approach.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be a mature, disciplined, experienced, and hands-on manager, preferably from a retired Army/ex-serviceman background, with strong expertise in administration, staff supervision, facility management, coordination, and institutional operations.
The candidate should be capable of taking overall responsibility for the smooth functioning of both the temple and hospital campus, managing staff and facilities effectively, resolving day-to-day operational issues, and working closely with management and all stakeholders.
Candidates with a strong background in Army administration, large-campus management, hospital/institutional operations, security, or facility management will be preferred.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
