Takshila Classes is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable English Faculty to join our team for Defence Examination preparation, including CDS, NDA, AFCAT and other competitive exams.
The ideal candidate should have solid command over English Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Sentence Improvement, Error Detection, Synonyms/Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases, and other exam-oriented English topics.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior teaching experience in English for competitive/defence examinations is preferred.
- Candidates who have cleared the CDS examination are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong command of English Grammar and Vocabulary.
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple, clear and exam-oriented manner.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to prepare quality study material, practice questions and mock tests.
- Should be comfortable teaching both online and/or offline classes, as required.
- Passionate about mentoring students and helping them achieve success in defence examinations.
Preferred Profile
We are particularly interested in candidates who are:
- Experienced English Faculty for CDS/NDA/AFCAT, OR
- Candidates who have cleared the CDS examination and have a strong command of English.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and structured English classes.
- Cover the complete syllabus according to the examination pattern.
- Provide exam-oriented strategies, shortcuts and practice.
- Analyse previous-year questions and guide students accordingly.
- Prepare/assist in preparing study material and test series content.
- Regularly assess student performance and provide guidance for improvement.
