About the Role:

We are looking for a Jr Hardware Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will assist in electronic hardware design, testing, troubleshooting, component sourcing, documentation, and product development activities. The role involves working closely with senior hardware and firmware engineers and gaining hands-on experience across the hardware development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Schematic & Layout Design: Create and modify electronic schematics and assist with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout design using industry-standard EDA tools.

- Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist in testing electronic circuits, boards, and prototypes using standard laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Component Sourcing: Help identify, evaluate, and source electronic components based on design requirements, cost, and availability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate engineering documents, including Bill of Materials (BOM), test reports, component datasheets, and basic schematic reviews.
- Collaboration: Work alongside senior hardware and firmware engineers to debug hardware issues and support the transition of products from concept to manufacturing.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Diploma or B.Sc. in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or a closely related technical discipline.

- Experience: Fresher (0 years of experience). Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

Core Skills & Competencies:

Solid understanding of fundamental analog and digital electronics.





- Comfortable using standard electronic laboratory testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and function generators.
- Basic knowledge of schematic and PCB design software such as KiCad, Altium, or OrCAD is a robust plus.
- Hands-on experience with basic through-hole and SMD soldering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.

Good to Have:

Familiarity with PCB design and layout practices.

Basic understanding of electronic component selection and datasheets.

Exposure to hardware debugging and prototype testing.

Familiarity with EDA tools such as KiCad, Altium, or OrCAD.

Basic understanding of the product development and manufacturing process.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in analog and digital electronics, with an interest in electronic hardware design, PCB development, testing, and troubleshooting. Candidates with hands-on experience in soldering, laboratory testing equipment, and basic PCB/schematic design tools will have an added advantage.
