Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care

- Assess patients and identify their nursing care needs.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care according to the patient's condition and treatment plan.
- Monitor vital signs, neurological status, pain, intake/output, and other clinical parameters.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Observe patients for changes in condition and promptly report abnormalities to the treating physician.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing notes and patient records.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care where applicable.

Casualty & Emergency Care

- Perform rapid initial assessment and triage of patients presenting to the Emergency/Casualty Department.
- Respond promptly to medical and surgical emergencies.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures, resuscitation, suturing, wound care, and other interventions.
- Demonstrate competency in BLS and emergency response procedures.
- Assist with CPR and Code Blue/emergency response protocols.
- Prepare and maintain emergency equipment, drugs, instruments, and crash carts.
- Ensure timely transfer and handover of critically ill patients to appropriate departments/units.

Clinical & Procedural Responsibilities

- Maintain IV access and manage IV therapy as per hospital protocols.
- Assist with procedures such as catheterization, wound dressing, NG tube insertion, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures within the scope of practice.
- Follow medication safety protocols, including correct patient, drug, dose, route, and time.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, storage, and handling of medications and clinical specimens.
- Assist in blood transfusion procedures and monitor patients for transfusion reactions.

Infection Control & Safety

- Strictly follow infection-prevention and control practices.
- Maintain hand hygiene, PPE, aseptic techniques, and biomedical waste segregation.
- Follow hospital safety policies, clinical protocols,



and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and proper functioning of nursing equipment.
- Report incidents, medication errors, adverse events, and safety concerns through the appropriate channels.

Communication & Coordination

- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing supervisors, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide appropriate patient and family education regarding treatment, medication, procedures, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain proper shift handover and communicate important clinical information clearly.
- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality while interacting with patients and their families.

Experience & Qualification Summary

Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
Minimum Experience: 5 years
Relevant Areas: Ward / Casualty / Emergency Department
Registration: Valid Nursing Council Registration

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
