Title: SAP E-Commerce QA Engineer (SAP Commerce Cloud/ Hybris – B2B)

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 6+ Months contract

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce QA Engineer to join our B2B digital commerce team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our SAP Commerce Cloud (CCV2) platform, which integrates with an ECC backend via SAP Datahub and is configured through Backoffice.

The ideal candidate will thrive in an agile environment, balancing hands-on functional testing with test automation to support continuous delivery, while maintaining rigorous quality gates and providing visibility into deployment health through dashboards and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

Sprint-Based Testing & Agile Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts and Tech Leads to review and clarify sprint stories, acceptance criteria, and technical designs. Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test cases covering both positive and negative scenarios. Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint review, retrospectives) to represent QA perspective and raise risks early.

Functional & Platform Testing: Perform functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across SAP Commerce Cloud (CCV2) storefronts, ECC backend transactions, Datahub integration flows, and Backoffice configuration changes. Validate B2B-specific workflows such as account hierarchies, contract pricing, approval workflows, punchout, quoting, and order management. Test data flow integrity between Commerce Cloud, Datahub, and ECC (e.g., pricing, inventory, order sync, customer master data).

Regression Management & Test Automation: Build and maintain a robust regression suite covering core storefront and integration scenarios to support continuous delivery. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for ongoing development, prioritizing high-risk and high-frequency regression areas.



Continuously expand automation coverage as new features are delivered, reducing manual regression effort over time. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast feedback on builds and deployments.

Quality Gatekeeping & Documentation: Document test plans, test cases, execution results, and defects in a structured, traceable manner. Own quality gate decisions for sprint deliverables and releases, ensuring no critical defects or unresolved risks pass into production without sign-off. Maintain clear defect logs with root cause classification (e.g., requirement miss, development miss, QA miss) to support continuous process improvement.

Reporting & Metrics: Prepare and maintain dashboards tracking release/deployment quality, test coverage, automation progress, and defect trends. Track and report failure metrics by category (requirement gaps, development defects, QA escapes) to identify systemic improvement areas. Present quality summaries to stakeholders (BA, Tech Leads, Product Owners, Management) at sprint and release milestones.

Required Qualifications:

- 4+ years of QA experience in e-commerce, with at least 2+ years working on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of B2B e-commerce workflows (account management, contract pricing, quotes, approvals, punchout).
- Experience testing integrations involving SAP ECC and middleware/integration layers (SAP Datahub or similar, e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi).
- Familiarity with SAP Commerce Backoffice for configuration validation.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright,



or similar; SAP Commerce-specific test frameworks a plus).
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum sprint cycles and CI/CD-driven delivery.
- Strong test case design skills covering positive, negative, edge, and boundary scenarios.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, ALM).
- Ability to build reporting dashboards (e.g., JIRA dashboards, Power BI, Excel, or similar) for tracking quality metrics.
- Robust analytical skills to classify and root-cause defects (requirement, development, or QA origin).
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with BAs, Tech Leads, Developers, and Product Owners.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP Commerce Cloud certification or hands-on Hybris platform experience
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) for Datahub/ECC integration validation
- Familiarity with performance/load testing concepts for e-commerce platforms
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and version control (Git)
- Experience in a B2B manufacturing, distribution, or industrial commerce environment

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
