Manager - Accounts & Finance

Experience: 8–10 Years
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. CA / ACCA / CPA qualification will be an added advantage.

Job Description

The Manager - Accounts & Finance will be responsible for overseeing the company’s finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, effective internal controls, and timely financial closing.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in Forex transactions, Import–Export accounting, international trade documentation, taxation, audit management, and financial reporting, with the ability to independently manage finance functions and support management in strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the complete finance and accounting operations of the organization.
- Handle accounting related to Forex transactions, Import–Export operations, and international trade.
- Manage and review international trade-related financial documentation.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and reconciliation of all major ledgers.
- Independently coordinate year-end audits, including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
- Manage and monitor GST,



corporate tax, and other statutory filings and submissions.
- Review Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable aging and take appropriate action to improve working capital and cash flow.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, cost analysis, cash-flow projections, and management reports.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, processes, and compliance systems.
- Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Provide management with financial analysis and insights to support business planning and decision-making.
- Lead, guide, and monitor the Accounts & Finance team.

Key Requirements

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Strong understanding of Forex and Import–Export accounting.
- Proven experience in handling audits and financial closing independently.
- Good knowledge of GST and corporate tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Experience in an international business or trading environment will be an advantage.
