Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrician with hospital experience to handle the electrical maintenance and day-to-day electrical requirements of the hospital. The candidate should be capable of troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring the protected and uninterrupted operation of hospital electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine electrical maintenance and repair work throughout the hospital.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults, wiring issues, and power supply problems.
- Maintain and repair electrical panels, distribution boards, switches, sockets, lighting, and related systems.
- Monitor and maintain electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
- Assist in the maintenance of DG sets, UPS systems, batteries, and other backup power systems.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements promptly.
- Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
- Inspect electrical equipment and identify potential safety hazards.




- Maintain proper electrical safety standards and follow hospital safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance/Engineering team and external service vendors when required.
- Maintain records of electrical maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure electrical work is carried out safely without affecting patient care and hospital operations.
- Support electrical requirements during new installations, renovations, and departmental modifications.

Qualifications & Skills

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in a hospital is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, circuits, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to handle emergency electrical breakdowns.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and attend emergency maintenance requirements.
