Job Summary – Plano Miller Operator

We are hiring a skilled Plano Miller Operator with hands-on experience in operating and setting up Plano Milling Machines for heavy engineering and machine components.

The candidate will be responsible for machining large and heavy components as per engineering drawings, maintaining dimensional accuracy, and ensuring quality standards during production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and set up Plano Miller / Plano Milling Machine.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, machining drawings and dimensions.
- Perform heavy-duty milling, facing, slotting, drilling and related machining operations.
- Set cutting tools, workpieces and machine parameters as per job requirements.
- Check dimensions using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain required accuracy, surface finish and tolerances.
- Handle heavy machine components safely during loading/unloading.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping at the workplace.
