About the Role

We are looking for an Instagram Research Intern to help us discover, analyse and document relevant Instagram accounts.

This is a research-focused role. Your main responsibility will be to search Instagram systematically, identify accounts that match our research criteria, analyse their recent performance, and enter accurate information into our research database.

You will not be responsible for creating or posting content at this stage.

What You’ll Do

- Search Instagram to discover relevant accounts within different niches and categories.
- Identify new and fast-growing accounts worth analysing.
- Review Instagram profiles and their recent Reels.
- Find and record relevant external/landing-page links connected to each account.
- Categorise accounts based on their niche, aesthetic, character type or content style.
- Record basic account information such as:
- Instagram account link
- Landing-page/profile links
- Account category
- Approximate account creation/start period where identifiable
- Current follower count
- Recent Reel performance
- Average views across recent Reels
- Highest-performing recent Reel
- Relevant internal labels/classifications
- Review the most recent posts/Reels to identify performance patterns.
- Verify information before adding it to the database.
- Avoid duplicate or irrelevant accounts.
- Keep research sheets organised, consistent and up to date.
- Highlight particularly interesting accounts, trends or discoveries to the team.

Accuracy is important. The goal is not simply to collect as many accounts as possible, but to find relevant accounts and document them correctly.

What We’re Looking For





You may be a good fit if you:

- Are comfortable spending significant time researching on Instagram.
- Are good at finding accounts through recommendations, related profiles, hashtags and other discovery methods.
- Notice patterns in content, niches and account positioning.
- Can work carefully with spreadsheets or databases.
- Are comfortable working with numbers and basic calculations.
- Pay close attention to detail.
- Can follow specific research criteria consistently.
- Can distinguish between useful and irrelevant accounts.
- Are comfortable performing repetitive research while maintaining accuracy.
- Can work independently once the research process is explained.

Requirements

- Basic understanding of Instagram and Reels.
- Comfortable using Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet tools.
- Good internet research skills.
- Basic written English.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable internet connection.

No specific degree or previous professional experience is required. Students and freshers may apply.

Work Setup

- Fully remote
- Research-only role
- Regular communication through Slack

- Findings will be entered into structured research sheets/databases
- Training and examples will be provided for the research process

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
