Junior Travel Consultant

Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior Travel Consultant to join our travel team and assist customers in planning and booking domestic and international holidays. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a passion for travel, and the ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable travel packages.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Understand customer travel requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Prepare and share customized travel itineraries and quotations.
- Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, DMCs, and other travel partners.
- Assist with flight, hotel, sightseeing, transfers, visa, and holiday package bookings.
- Follow up with customers and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, bookings, and customer details.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of confirmed trips.
- Provide pre-travel assistance and respond to customer queries promptly.
- Stay updated on destinations, travel packages, hotel options, and seasonal offers.
- Assist senior travel consultants with day-to-day sales and operational activities.

Requirements

- 0–2 years of experience in travel and tourism, preferably in a travel agency or tour operator.




- Freshers with valuable communication skills and a strong interest in travel may also apply.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of domestic and international destinations.
- Ability to prepare professional quotations and itineraries.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office, email, and WhatsApp.
- Good negotiation, coordination, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn travel booking systems and industry processes.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of international holiday destinations.
- Basic understanding of visa requirements and travel documentation.
- Experience with hotel, flight, transfer, or tour package bookings.
- Sales and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of travel-related software or booking platforms.
