Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior SPM Assembly Engineer with solid hands-on experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Assembly. The candidate should have practical knowledge of machine assembly, mechanism fitting, alignment, pneumatic connections, and machine trial activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute SPM machine assembly as per engineering drawings and assembly requirements.
- Assemble complete Special Purpose Machines, fixtures, jigs, and automation mechanisms.
- Read and understand mechanical assembly drawings, component drawings, and BOMs.
- Perform accurate component fitting, alignment, leveling, and machine setup.
- Handle assembly of mechanical components such as cylinders, guideways, bearings, shafts, couplings, slides, and actuators.
- Perform pneumatic tube routing and connections as required.
- Check machine movement, clearances, alignment, and mechanical functionality.
- Identify and rectify mechanical issues during machine assembly and trials.
- Coordinate with Design, Electrical, and Automation teams during machine integration.
- Support machine dry runs, testing, debugging,



and final trials.
- Guide and supervise junior assembly technicians and team members.
- Ensure proper quality, safety, and housekeeping during machine assembly.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SPM Assembly.
- Good knowledge of SPM machine mechanisms and automation equipment.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of machine fitting, alignment, leveling, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems and mechanical components.
- Ability to independently handle SPM assembly activities.
- Good team coordination and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering or related field

Preferred Experience

- 2–5 years of relevant SPM Assembly experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Special Purpose Machine assembly.
- Experience in SPM machine trials and troubleshooting.
- Candidates who can independently handle SPM assembly activities are preferred.
- Immediate Joiners are highly preferred.
