Novo Energy Solutions is looking for a responsible and organized Storekeeper & Inventory Assistant – Electrical & Solar to manage our store/godown operations and maintain accurate inventory of electrical, solar, and project-related materials.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of stock handling, material inward/outward, inventory management, documentation, and warehouse organization. Previous experience in an electrical, solar, construction, or engineering company will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming electrical and solar materials.
- Maintain proper records of all material inward and outward movements.
- Organize and store materials systematically for easy identification and access.
- Issue materials to project/site teams based on approved material requests.
- Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the management about low-stock or fast-moving items.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences.
- Check materials for quantity, quality, damage, and specifications during receipt.
- Prepare materials and equipment for dispatch to project sites.
- Maintain proper documentation such as GRN, material issue slips, delivery notes, and stock records.
- Coordinate with the purchase, accounts, project, and site teams regarding material requirements.
- Track returned, unused, excess, or damaged materials from project sites.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of electrical and solar equipment.
- Keep the store/godown clean, organized, and secure.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials when required.
- Report missing, damaged, excess, or obsolete materials to the concerned supervisor.
- Follow company procedures and safety standards for storage and material handling.

Electrical & Solar Materials

The candidate should be willing to learn and handle materials such as:

- Solar panels and mounting accessories
- Solar inverters
- DC/AC cables and wires
- ACDB/DCDB and electrical panels
- MCBs, MCCBs,



isolators, fuses, and other electrical accessories
- Earthing materials
- Cable trays, conduits, glands, lugs, and termination accessories
- Switches, sockets, lights, and other electrical items
- Tools, PPE, hardware, and project consumables

Requirements

- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, inventory, or material management.
- Experience in an electrical, solar, construction, engineering, or EPC company will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Excel preferred.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and differentiate various materials.
- Honest, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Physically fit and able to handle materials when required.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with project and site teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience handling electrical and solar materials.
- Knowledge of inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical/solar components.
- Experience with stock reconciliation and physical inventory.
- Valid driving licence will be an added advantage if required for local material movement.
