Job Summary

DevOps Engineer LBG Grade: E Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GitHub, Jenkins, Harness, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Dynatrace. The candidate will be responsible for automating software delivery, managing cloud infrastructure, improving platform reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable applications. Roles and Responsibilities •Design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Harness. •Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using GitHub. •Build, package, and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform. • Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). • Develop, maintain, and customize Helm charts for application deployments. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. • Monitor application and infrastructure health using Dynatrace and proactively resolve performance issues. • Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable software delivery. • Troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, Kubernetes cluster problems, and production incidents. • Implement high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and security best practices. • Optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable software releases. • Manage Kubernetes namespaces, ingress, services, secrets, ConfigMaps, and storage resources.



• Support production releases, change management, and incident resolution activities. Primary skills • Strong hands-on experience with GitHub. • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Harness. • Robust knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. • Hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). • Experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform. • Strong knowledge of Helm charts and Kubernetes package management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain devops pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
2. Collaborate with development teams to integrate devops tools and practices effectively.
3. Monitor and optimize kubernetes clusters for improved efficiency and performance.
4. Develop and maintain python scripts and tools to enhance system automation.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to devops, python, and kubernetes implementations.
6. Conduct regular testing and performance tuning to ensure optimal system functionality.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to team members on devops best practices.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to devops, python, and kubernetes.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in devops practices and tools such as jenkins, docker, ansible, and git.
2. Strong experience in python programming and scripting for automation and system management.
3. In-depth knowledge of kubernetes infrastructure for container orchestration.
4. Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., aws, azure, gcp) and containerization.
5. Understanding of ci/cd pipelines and agile methodologies for software development.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in DevOps, Python, or Kubernetes would be a plus.
