Recrutifi is hiring on behalf of its client for an experienced Senior Accountant / Team Leader with strong expertise in UK accounting and corporation tax. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes while leading and reviewing the work of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee UK accounts preparation and corporation tax filings
- Review financial statements, tax computations, and supporting documents
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants
- Conduct quality checks and final reviews of team deliverables
- Coordinate with clients to resolve queries and provide updates
- Maintain accuracy, timelines, and reporting standards
- Handle multiple client accounts efficiently
Key Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in UK Accounts & Corporation Tax
- Proficiency in tools such as TaxCalc, IRIS, QuickBooks, AutoEntry, and MyWorkPapers
- Strong understanding of UK compliance and reporting frameworks
- Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal)
- Prior experience in a Team Leader / review role
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments
