Job Summary

SPD Constructions Limited is looking for an experienced Engineer – Billing with 5–7 years of experience in high-rise building and industrial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, site measurements, contractor and subcontractor billing, bill verification and certification, quantity reconciliation, and coordination with project and accounts teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction billing, quantity surveying, measurement, BOQ, rate analysis, reconciliation, and contractor/vendor bill certification.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare quantity take-offs and quantity sheets based on site measurements, drawings, specifications, and executed work.
- Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on tender documents, drawings, specifications, and approved item rates.
- Prepare, verify, process, and certify contractor and subcontractor bills.
- Take and verify site measurements in coordination with Site Engineers and project teams.
- Cross-check executed quantities against approved drawings, BOQ, work orders, and site records.
- Review item-wise quantities, rates, and billing details to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.




- Verify and certify vendor and contractor bills/invoices before submission for further processing.
- Ensure all measurements and billing documentation are properly recorded and maintained.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Accounts, and other relevant departments for billing-related matters.
- Follow the company's established billing, measurement, documentation, and approval procedures.
- Prepare reconciliation statements for materials and quantities as required.
- Track pending bills and coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding payment processing and status.
- Identify discrepancies in measurements, quantities, rates, invoices, and supporting documents and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Maintain proper records of BOQs, measurements, running bills, subcontractor bills, certifications, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
- Assist in monitoring project quantities and billing against approved BOQ and contractual provisions.
- Ensure timely submission and certification of RA Bills / Running Account Bills and final bills as applicable.
- Support project management in billing-related MIS, quantity tracking, and commercial documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile Education





- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience

- 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction billing and quantity management.
- Strong experience in high-rise building and industrial construction projects is required.
- Candidates with extensive experience in contractor/subcontractor billing, quantity verification, site measurement, BOQ, reconciliation, and bill certification will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of construction billing and quantity surveying.
- Good understanding of BOQ, measurements, quantity take-off, RA Bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Experience in verification and certification of contractor, subcontractor, and vendor bills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project.
- Good numerical, analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify billing and quantity discrepancies.
- Good communication and coordination skills with site and commercial teams.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
