Job Summary

We are looking for a Career Counsellor who is passionate about guiding students and helping them make informed decisions about their education, career, skills, and employment opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for student counselling, course guidance, career planning, lead follow-up, and supporting placement activities.

Significant Note: Candidates passed out from 2016 to 2026 will be given first preference. Salary will vary based on communication skills, counselling ability, performance, and experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Counsel students regarding career opportunities, courses, skills, and job prospects.
- Understand students' interests, qualifications, skills, and career goals.
- Explain available courses, training programs, certifications, and career pathways.
- Conduct one-to-one and group counselling sessions for students.
- Provide guidance on job search, resume building, LinkedIn, interviews, and placement preparation.
- Generate and follow up with student leads through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other communication channels.
- Convert enquiries into course admissions by effectively explaining course benefits and career opportunities.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students and update enquiry/lead details.
- Conduct or support career guidance seminars, college visits, workshops, and awareness programs.
- Coordinate with the training and placement team to understand current job opportunities and industry requirements.
- Assist students in identifying suitable career paths based on their skills and interests.
- Maintain student counselling records, follow-up details, and daily activity reports.




- Stay updated about industry trends, job roles, skill requirements, and emerging technologies.
- Support promotional activities, college presentations, and career-related events.

Candidates with knowledge or experience in any ONE of the following areas are eligible:

- Career Counselling
- Student Counselling
- Education Counselling
- Sales / Business Development
- Tele calling / Lead Generation
- Customer Relationship Management

Note: Knowledge or experience in any one area is sufficient. Candidates do not need to have experience in all the above areas.

Required Experience and Qualifications

- Any Degree / Diploma graduates are eligible.
- Candidates from Arts, Science, Engineering, Management, Commerce, HR, and related backgrounds are preferred.
- 2016–2026 passed-out candidates will be given first preference.
- Freshers can apply; prior experience is not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good counselling and convincing skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with students, parents, and colleges.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Good follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel, WhatsApp, Email, and online platforms is preferred.
