Job Summary

Job Summary : experienced Project Manager whose primary strength is project management and end-to-end delivery governance. The role will manage network, cloud, and data center projects, with particular focus on migrations, upgrades, refreshes, consolidations, and technology transitions. The candidate should have a good understanding of infrastructure technologies to coordinate technical teams, manage dependencies and risks, validate delivery readiness, and communicate technical impacts to business stakeholders. Hands-on engineering or administration is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities : • Manage projects from initiation and planning through execution, implementation, transition, and closure. • Define and control project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, milestones, resources, budgets, quality, and acceptance criteria. • Develop and maintain project plans, governance schedules, status reports, RAID logs, dependency trackers, change requests, and decision logs. • Lead network, cloud, and data center migration, upgrade, refresh, consolidation, and transformation projects. • Coordinate architects, engineers, security teams, application owners, operations teams, vendors, carriers, OEMs, and cloud service providers. • Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, changes, actions, decisions, and escalations through timely mitigation and resolution. • Plan and govern assessments, design reviews, procurement, environment readiness, testing, maintenance windows, cutovers, rollback, hypercare, and operational handover. • Monitor delivery against scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, and business-outcome commitments; initiate corrective actions where required. • Manage budgets, forecasts, purchase requirements, vendor statements of work, invoices, commercial commitments, and financial reporting. • Facilitate project meetings, technical checkpoints, governance reviews, steering committees, and executive updates. • Translate technical updates into clear business impacts, risks, options, decisions, and recommendations. • Ensure adherence to project governance, security,



compliance, change management, audit, documentation, and service-transition requirements. • Complete project closure, lessons learned, benefits tracking, knowledge transfer, and transition to business-as-usual support.

Skill Requirements

Skill Requirement : • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline. • 8–12 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years in project-management roles. • Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure migration and upgrade projects across network, cloud, data center, or hybrid environments. • Proven ability to deliver medium-to-large projects within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and governance requirements. • Solid knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, RAID management, change control, vendor management, and stakeholder communication. • Experience managing complex cutovers, technical dependencies, implementation risks, hypercare, and transition to operations. • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, external vendors, carriers, OEMs, and cloud service providers. • Strong leadership, negotiation, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and written communication skills. • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or an equivalent project-management certification is preferred. • ITIL and foundational network, cloud, or data center certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. • Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar project-management tools is preferred. Other Requirement : Project Management and Technical Knowledge • Primary skill – Project Management: Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, scope, schedule, budget, resources, governance, quality, risk, change, vendor, stakeholder, and communication management. • Ability to create practical delivery plans, establish controls, track milestones and dependencies, manage escalations, and drive teams toward agreed outcomes. • Network: Good understanding of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, network security, resilience, and connectivity. • Cloud: Good understanding of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud infrastructure, virtual networks, compute, storage, identity and access, security controls, connectivity, monitoring, resiliency, and cost considerations. • Data Center: Good understanding of servers, virtualization, storage, backup, racks, cabling, facilities dependencies, monitoring, capacity, hardware lifecycle, business continuity, and disaster recovery. • Understanding of migration and upgrade activities, including discovery, assessment, design, planning, testing, compatibility, sequencing, cutover, rollback, stabilization, and decommissioning. • Ability to understand architecture diagrams, technical designs, migration plans, test plans, cutover runbooks, rollback plans, and operational-readiness documents. • Familiarity with ITIL change, incident, problem, configuration, release, and service-transition processes. • Technical understanding is required to govern delivery and support informed decision-making; hands-on configuration or administration is not the primary responsibility.
