Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Head of Production to lead and manage the complete production function. The person will be responsible for achieving production targets, ensuring product quality, optimizing manpower and resources, reducing production costs, and maintaining a safe and efficient manufacturing workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and control daily/monthly production activities as per production targets.
- Ensure timely achievement of production schedules and customer requirements.
- Manage production manpower, machines, materials, and other resources effectively.
- Monitor production output, productivity, efficiency, downtime, rejection, and wastage.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, work instructions, and process controls.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and Dispatch departments.




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and productivity improvement.
- Control production costs and minimize material wastage and operational losses.
- Ensure proper preventive maintenance and timely resolution of machine breakdowns in coordination with Maintenance.
- Develop and monitor KPIs for production teams.
- Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate production staff and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, statutory, and company policies.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Conduct regular production meetings and review performance against targets.
- Investigate production issues, deviations, and recurring problems and implement permanent solutions.
- Support new product development, process improvement, and new machine/process implementation.
- Maintain proper production records and documentation.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
