We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to teach Chemistry in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks. The candidate should develop students' conceptual understanding of Chemistry through effective classroom teaching, practical activities, demonstrations, and continuous assessment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Chemistry lessons based on the CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks.
- Teach concepts in Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry as applicable to the assigned classes.
- Explain complex concepts using easy examples, diagrams, models, experiments, and demonstrations.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and revision materials.
- Complete the prescribed syllabus within the academic schedule.
- Conduct regular class tests, assessments, revision, and remedial sessions.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and scientific reasoning.
- Conduct Chemistry practical and laboratory sessions effectively and safely.
- Ensure students understand laboratory procedures, safety practices, and proper handling of laboratory equipment.
- Encourage students to participate actively in experiments, discussions, projects, and academic activities.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide appropriate remedial guidance.
- Monitor and maintain records of student attendance, academic performance, assessments, and progress.
- Analyse assessment results and implement suitable improvement strategies.
- Provide constructive feedback to students regarding their academic performance.




- Prepare students effectively for CBSE examinations through regular practice and revision.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and communicate student progress to parents.
- Coordinate with other subject teachers and the Academic Coordinator for effective academic planning.
- Use appropriate digital teaching tools, simulations, presentations, and other resources to enhance learning.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in science exhibitions, workshops, seminars, competitions, and other school activities.
- Follow all school policies, academic procedures, laboratory safety standards, and professional requirements.

Educational Qualification

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE Chemistry curriculum and NCERT textbooks.

Experience

- 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good communication skills may also be considered.
