Job Description – Fabrication Fitter

Position: Fabrication Fitter
Department: Production / Fabrication
Industry: Trailer Chassis Manufacturing
Location: Chakan, Pune

Job Responsibilities

- Read and understand basic fabrication drawings and dimensions.
- Perform fitting, assembly, and fabrication work for trailer chassis and structural components.
- Mark, cut, align, and fit MS/steel components as per drawing and specifications.
- Perform tack fitting and ensure proper alignment before welding.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment safely.
- Check dimensions, levels, and alignment of chassis components during fabrication.
- Coordinate with welders and production team for smooth completion of jobs.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow safety procedures at the workplace.
- Ensure quality and productivity as per production requirements.

Required Skills & Experience





- 1–5 years of experience in fabrication/fitting work.
- Experience in heavy fabrication, trailer chassis, automobile, or similar manufacturing will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication drawings and measurements.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as measuring tape, vernier, try square, etc.
- Knowledge of MS/steel fabrication and chassis assembly.
- Good teamwork and discipline.

Qualification

- ITI – Fitter / Fabrication or equivalent.
- Relevant practical experience may also be considered.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
