Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with solid hands-on experience in modern data engineering, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, ETL development, and cloud migration.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Fabric Warehouse, PySpark, T-SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), ADLS Gen2, Parquet, Delta Lake, and Medallion Architecture.

The candidate should also have experience migrating on-premises SQL Server and SSIS workloads to Azure/Fabric environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and support data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and maintain ADF and Microsoft Fabric data pipelines.
- Develop PySpark notebooks for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Develop and optimize T-SQL / SQL Server queries and data solutions.
- Design and implement Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture using Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- Work with OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, and Fabric Warehouse.
- Perform migration of on-premises SQL Server and SSIS workloads to Azure/Fabric.
- Implement data ingestion and transformation using Parquet and Delta formats.
- Develop scalable data models for reporting and analytics.
- Perform ETL, SQL, pipeline, and compute performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot production data pipeline and integration issues.
- Support testing, UAT,



deployment, and production activities.
- Collaborate with solution architects, technical leads, developers, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

- 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric OneLake, Lakehouse, and Fabric Warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL / SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with PySpark.
- Experience implementing Medallion Architecture – Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
- Strong understanding of Parquet and Delta / Delta Parquet.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2).
- Experience developing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Experience migrating on-premises SQL Server / SSIS workloads to Azure or Microsoft Fabric.
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Data Modelling.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong understanding of modern cloud data engineering concepts.
- Experience working in enterprise data platforms.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot technical and production issues.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hyderabad, Telangana (Hyderabad, Hyderabad District)
