- Propose improvements to the current purchasing system to enhance vendor relationships and reduce costs.

- Build an effective category sourcing structure.

- Develop sourcing strategies for key raw materials and forecast supply constraints.

- Manage day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure performance standards are met.

- Develop multiple vendors for operational flexibility and cost management.

- Convert repeated purchases into rate contracts for better pricing.

- Implement cost reduction programs periodically.

- Identify innovation opportunities using new technologies.

- Optimize the supplier's portfolio in line with procurement strategies.

- Negotiate supplier agreements.

- Lead supplier performance management regarding quality and service.

- Collaborate with inventory control and sales to maintain inventory levels.
