Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Import Export Advisory Intern / Trainee who is interested in building a career in International Trade, Import-Export, International Business, Market Research, Export Advisory, and Business Development.

The selected candidate will undergo a 6-month trainee program with practical exposure to international trade and advisory activities. Based on performance, learning ability, professionalism, and business requirements during the training period, the candidate may be considered for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) for a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the advisory team in Import-Export and International Trade projects.

Conduct research on international markets, industries, products, buyers, suppliers, and trade opportunities.

Research and identify potential international markets and target countries.

Assist in evaluating export readiness and market-entry opportunities.

Support the team in developing export strategies and international business plans.

Identify and research potential international buyers, distributors, importers, and business partners.

Support international lead generation and business development activities.

Assist in preparing client presentations, business proposals, market reports, and research documents.

Support client communication, follow-ups, and meeting coordination.





Maintain and update client, prospect, market, and business opportunity databases.

Assist in analysing competitors, market trends, pricing, and international business opportunities.

Gain practical exposure to customs, documentation, compliance, and international trade processes.

Coordinate with internal teams and external business partners wherever required.

Support the advisory team in preparing reports and recommendations for clients.

Learn and understand the complete cycle of international trade and export business development.

Candidate Requirements

Graduate / Postgraduate in B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA, International Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Strong interest in International Trade and Import-Export.

Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Good research and analytical abilities.





Strong interpersonal and client-handling skills.

Basic understanding of business, finance, or international trade will be an advantage.

Comfortable working in a target-oriented and qualified environment.

Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and online research tools is preferred.
