Tirtha Yatra is a specialized temple tour organisation dedicated to creating spiritually enriching pilgrimage experiences across India and abroad. Through engaging visual storytelling, we aim to bring the sacred destinations, traditions, history and spiritual heritage of Bharat closer to our audience.

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor who can combine conventional video-editing expertise with modern AI-powered content creation tools to produce highly engaging videos for social media, digital marketing, educational content and brand communication.

Key Responsibilities

The Video Editor will be responsible for:

- Editing high-quality short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp and other digital platforms.
- Creating engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, destination videos, testimonials, documentaries and spiritual/educational content.
- Converting raw footage, photographs, scripts and voiceovers into compelling visual stories.
- Using AI tools for video generation, image generation, animation, voice enhancement, background creation, subtitles and other creative applications.
- Generating video sequences or supporting visuals using AI when suitable footage is unavailable.
- Creating engaging hooks and maintaining viewer interest through appropriate pacing, transitions, graphics and storytelling.
- Adding motion graphics, titles, subtitles, lower-thirds, maps, icons and other visual elements.
- Performing colour correction, colour grading, audio enhancement and sound design.
- Selecting appropriate background music and sound effects.
- Repurposing long-form content into multiple short-form videos.
- Creating platform-specific versions in vertical, landscape and square formats.
- Collaborating with the content, marketing and Yatra teams to understand the objective and audience for each video.
- Researching photographs, videos and other visual references relevant to temples, pilgrimage destinations and Indian culture.
- Maintaining organised project files,



raw footage and final video archives.
- Continuously experimenting with new AI video-generation and editing technologies to improve quality and reduce production time.
- Ensuring that AI-generated content is visually accurate, culturally appropriate and aligned with Tirtha Yatra's brand standards.

AI & Technical Skills

The candidate should be comfortable with professional video-editing software such as:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve or equivalent professional tools

The candidate should also have practical experience with, or demonstrate the ability to quickly learn, AI-based creative tools for:

- Text-to-video generation
- Image-to-video generation
- AI image generation
- AI-assisted video editing
- Generative video effects
- AI voiceovers and voice enhancement
- Automated subtitles and transcription
- Background/object removal and replacement
- AI animation
- Upscaling and restoration of old or low-quality footage

Knowledge of tools such as Runway, Kling, Veo, Sora, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney or other emerging generative-AI platforms will be an advantage.

We are particularly interested in candidates who use AI as a creative production tool rather than relying only on traditional editing workflows.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 2 years of qualified video-editing experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating video-editing and storytelling capabilities.
- Good understanding of composition, pacing, transitions, typography, colour and sound.
- Experience creating content for social-media platforms, especially Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Ability to understand a script or concept and independently translate it into an engaging video.
- Good working knowledge of current AI-powered content-generation tools.
- Ability and enthusiasm to continuously learn emerging AI technologies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple video projects simultaneously.




- Good communication and coordination skills.

Mandatory Location Requirement

The position is work from office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru.

Candidates must currently reside within a 10 km radius of Malleswaram. Candidates residing substantially beyond this radius may not be considered for the position.

Culturally sensitive: Comfortable working with content relating to temples, pilgrimage, Indian heritage and Sanatana Dharma.

Self-driven: Can take a concept or script and develop the visual treatment with minimal supervision.

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must submit a portfolio or links to their previous work.

Preference will be given to candidates whose portfolio demonstrates:

- Reels/Shorts
- Cinematic videos
- Travel or destination videos
- Promotional videos
- Motion graphics
- Story-driven editing
- AI-generated or AI-assisted videos

Shortlisted candidates may be given a practical video-editing/AI video-generation assignment as part of the selection process.
