Key Responsibilities –
1. Community Mapping & Mobilisation Planning
- Map assigned villages, Gram Panchayats, habitations and relevant rural communities within the approved mobilisation geography.
- Identify potential sources of eligible youth through approved outreach channels and community networks.
- Prepare daily and weekly field plans covering villages, outreach events, meetings and candidate follow-up.
- Maintain a mobilisation pipeline and ensure adequate prospective candidates for upcoming batches.
- Prioritise underserved and hard-to-reach communities in accordance with the approved mobilisation strategy.
2. Community Outreach & Awareness Generation
- Conduct village-level awareness meetings, youth meetings, counselling camps and other approved mobilisation activities.
- Explain DDU-GKY and the specific training prospect in simple, accurate and locally appropriate language.
- Use only approved IEC/publicity material and authorised programme information.
- Engage Gram Panchayats, SHGs, community leaders, youth groups and other relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in job fairs, mobilisation drives, orientation events and approved outreach programmes.
3. Candidate Identification & Preliminary Screening
- Identify prospective candidates who appear to meet applicable programme eligibility criteria.
- Conduct preliminary screening using the prescribed eligibility checklist.
- Explain job role, training duration, training location, employment possibilities, available wage/salary information and expected workplace conditions.
- Understand education, skills, interests, employment aspirations and mobility/relocation considerations.
- Refer candidates needing detailed counselling or eligibility clarification to the Counsellor/Centre Head.
4. Candidate Counselling Support
- Provide first-level information and motivation to prospective candidates and families.
- Explain the candidate journey from registration and training through assessment, certification, placement and post-placement support.
- Address concerns relating to training, residential arrangements, migration, employment location, wages and workplace conditions using approved information.
- Coordinate with the Soft Skill & Communication Trainer–cum–Counsellor for detailed counselling.
- Follow up with candidates who are hesitant, undecided or at risk of not joining.
5. Registration & Documentation Facilitation
- Assist eligible candidates in completing prescribed registration/enrolment processes.
- Facilitate collection of required candidate documents and photographs as per the applicable checklist.
- Check documents for completeness and flag discrepancies to the authorised centre/project team.
- Ensure candidate information is captured accurately before forwarding it to MIS/registration personnel.
- Never fabricate, alter or misrepresent candidate information or supporting documents.
6. Candidate & Family Follow-up
- Maintain contact with prospective candidates from first contact through registration and joining.
- Remind selected candidates about counselling, documentation, reporting dates, orientation and batch commencement.
- Follow up with candidates who miss counselling or joining activities.
- Record reasons for non-joining, withdrawal or drop-out and report them to the Mobilisation Head/Centre Head.
- Support re-engagement of suitable candidates where authorised.
7. MIS & Centre Coordination
- Share daily/weekly mobilisation progress with the Mobilisation Head and Centre Head.
- Provide candidate information and documents to the MIS Executive through the prescribed process.
- Reconcile mobilisation records with registration/enrolment status.
- Maintain field records, activity reports, candidate follow-up sheets and event documentation.
- Support data verification during inspections, reviews and quality monitoring.
8. Stakeholder Coordination
- Build constructive relationships with approved community stakeholders and institutional partners.
- Coordinate mobilisation activities with SRLM/SSDM representatives and local stakeholders as directed.
- Participate in Panchayat/community meetings and awareness events.
- Maintain professional relationships without making unauthorised commitments on behalf of the PIA or Government.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Community management: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driving Licence (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (Preferred)
