We're looking to welcome a skilled, self-motivated Solution Architect with a strong Java Full Stack development background to produce secure, scalable, high-performing technical solutions. This person will hold a central position in guiding our technology strategy, coordinating with teams spread across various regions, and championing new ideas that support wider organizational aims. We need someone who thrives amid constant change and carries a real enthusiasm for building innovative fintech offerings

Responsibilities

- Build software solutions that prioritize robust security, scalability, and reliability in service of business objectives
- Map out and put into motion technology strategy spanning one or more products, engaging with essential stakeholders along the way
- Combine efforts with senior technical and product leaders to influence and deliver solutions that produce tangible results
- Maintain close collaboration with globally spread Solution Architecture and Engineering teams to develop common standards and methodologies
- Stay connected with wider technical and architecture groups to keep initiatives in step with organizational strategy




- Investigate and weigh various technical solution options by drawing from both time-tested and newer technologies
- Speed up software delivery by applying focused expertise in microservices architecture geared toward fintech
- Mentor and back engineering teams to encourage sound technical habits and steady progress
- Work hand-in-hand with product owners and operations staff to enable smooth software releases
- Advocate for agile principles and contribute to a workplace culture grounded in teamwork and mutual support
- Dive into hands-on work building prototypes and working through complicated technical hurdles
- Defend rigorous technical quality benchmarks and favor solutions constructed for lasting use

Requirements

- 14+ years of product engineering experience centered on developing solutions capable of scaling well
- Well-established knowledge of core Computer Science concepts, web application building, and microservices architecture
- Background creating financial platforms engineered to support high transaction throughput, worldwide operation, and near-uninterrupted uptime
- Capable with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and front-end frameworks including React and Angular
- Strong experience in back-end development leveraging Java, Spring, and Spring Boot




- Familiarity with database solutions such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server suited for large-scale environments
- Practical experience with cloud-native technologies including PCF, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS
- Comfortable thriving within Agile frameworks centered on teamwork and incremental delivery cycles
- Track record mentoring engineering teams while promoting a mindset of continual technical development
- Ready to get hands-on with prototype development to tackle business-oriented problems
- Skilled in communicating effectively with a mix of technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

- Demonstrated skills in Java, J2EE, RESTful APIs, React, and Angular
- Working exposure to frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
- Background applying API tooling and design conventions within large-scale systems
- Understanding of cloud and DevOps architecture, especially concerning Azure or AWS
- Skilled with database technologies such as PostgreSQL alongside assorted NoSQL options
