Painter – Powder coating -Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, abrasive blasting, and pre-treatment to remove contaminants and ensure proper coating adhesion.
- Prepare and apply primers, paints, enamels, polyurethanes, and powder coatings according to approved specifications and work instructions.
- Operate electrostatic spray guns, HVLP/airless spray systems, powder coating booths, and related painting equipment.
- Perform powder coating operations, including proper electrostatic application and control of coating coverage and uniformity.
- Operate curing ovens and monitor required temperature and curing/soak time to achieve proper coating performance.
- Mix paints, primers, catalysts, and thinners in the specified ratios and maintain proper viscosity for application.
- Monitor coating quality, including thickness, colour, surface finish, adhesion, and curing, and perform necessary touch-ups.




- Identify and troubleshoot coating defects such as orange peel, runs, sagging, pinholes, poor coverage, colour variation, and adhesion failure.
- Clean and maintain spray guns, hoses, booths, filters, ovens, and other painting equipment to prevent contamination and maintain consistent quality.
- Maintain secure working practices, proper PPE, housekeeping, and 5S while supporting team productivity and continuously improving painting skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Education:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Required)

Experience:

- Powder coating Painter: 5 years (Required)
