To ensure business continuity and support the digital transformation within Siemens Energy's Application Development function, the Copilot Specialist will drive the adoption, customization, and deployment of Copilot and AI-assisted productivity solutions. This role bridges the gap between emerging generative AI technologies and corporate IT platforms to enhance organizational efficiency. To address these business aims, this role focuses on Copilot Customization & Development, Solution Implementation & Enablement, and Platform Governance & Security. These core areas ensure that AI tools are securely integrated, custom-tailored to business needs, and effectively adopted by employees. Given the focus on advanced AI integration and platform enablement, the ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and basic software development principles. A background in IT or Computer Science combined with solid problem-solving skills is essential for success in this role.

- 40% Copilot Customization & Development
- Design and develop custom Copilot extensions, plugins, and conversational topics using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
- Integrate Copilot with external data sources, APIs, and enterprise systems to enrich AI-driven responses.
- Write clean, maintainable code or low-code logic to implement custom business workflows within the AI ecosystem.

- 30% Solution Deployment & User Enablement

- Support the deployment of Copilot solutions across various business units,



ensuring seamless onboarding and technical setup.
- Conduct user training sessions, create documentation, and provide technical guidance to help employees leverage AI tools effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Copilot access, performance, and integration.

- 30% Governance, Security & Optimization

- Monitor Copilot usage metrics and system performance to identify optimization opportunities and improve response accuracy.
- Ensure all custom AI solutions comply with Siemens Energy's data privacy, security, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to align Copilot configurations with enterprise tenant policies.

Certifications

- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102)

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT application development, low-code solutions, or digital workplace enablement, ideally with internship experience in a similar corporate environment.
