Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Infection Control Nurse (ICN) to support the hospital’s infection prevention and control program. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring infection control practices, conducting surveillance, staff training, audits, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and NABH standards.
Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / GNM (Certification/training in Infection Control is an added advantage)
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Infection Control or Hospital Nursing (Hospital / Medical College experience preferred)
- Preferred Candidate: Candidates with experience in NABH-accredited hospitals/medical colleges. Immediate joiners preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and implement Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) practices across clinical and support areas.
- Conduct hand hygiene audits, HAI surveillance, and regular infection control rounds.




- Monitor infection control practices in ICU, OT, wards, OPD, Casualty, CSSD, lab, and dialysis.
- Ensure compliance with PPE usage, biomedical waste management, and sterilization protocols.
- Coordinate with Microbiology, Nursing, Housekeeping, and clinical departments.
- Conduct IPC training programs for doctors, nurses, technicians, and housekeeping staff.
- Maintain infection control registers, audit reports, and surveillance documentation.
- Support investigation and reporting of infection outbreaks and needle-stick injuries.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards and participate in Quality / Infection Control Committee meetings.
