Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commis 1 – Indian & Chinese to join our kitchen team. s.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook Indian and Chinese dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure proper portion control and minimize food wastage.
- Maintain consistent taste, quality, and presentation of food.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
- Properly store food items.
- Keep workstations, cooking equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organized.
- Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies when required.
- Follow instructions from senior chefs and work effectively as part of the kitchen team.
- Support buffet, banquet, and other food-service requirements as needed.
- Report any equipment problems,



food-quality issues, or shortages to the supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort, or similar hospitality environment is preferred.
- Basic to good knowledge of Indian and Chinese cuisine.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, spices, sauces, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Willingness to work adaptable shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Hospitality or culinary qualification is an advantage.

Experience

2–3 years of relevant experience in Indian and Chinese cuisine is preferred.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
