Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lab Technician to manage and support ECE laboratories, assist faculty and students during practical sessions, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure the smooth and safe functioning of all laboratory activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of ECE laboratories and ensure readiness for practical sessions.
- Set up and support laboratory experiments for students and faculty.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Provide technical support in Analog & Digital Electronics, Communication Systems, Microprocessors/Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems, and related ECE laboratories.
- Diagnose and resolve basic faults in electronic circuits, equipment, and laboratory instruments.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, components, tools, and consumables.
- Maintain inventory, stock registers, equipment records, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate equipment servicing, calibration, repair, and preventive maintenance.
- Assist faculty members in planning and preparing laboratory experiments and practical sessions.




- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and institutional standards.
- Guide and support students in the safe and proper use of laboratory equipment.
- Monitor laboratory requirements and coordinate procurement of components and consumables.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and discipline within the laboratory.
- Support departmental academic activities, projects, demonstrations, workshops, and technical events when required.

Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or a relevant Electronics discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an academic, engineering, electronics, or laboratory workplace.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on knowledge of electronics and ECE laboratory equipment.
- Good understanding of electronic circuits, components, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in handling laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, power supplies, etc.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded systems, communication systems, and digital/analog electronics.
- Good equipment maintenance and inventory management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with faculty members, students, vendors, and service personnel.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
