### Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced *Operations Manager* to manage and improve day-to-day manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production, quality, delivery, manpower, safety, and cost targets.

### Key Responsibilities

* Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production activities and targets.
* Coordinate with *Production, Planning, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, Engineering, and Dispatch* teams.
* Monitor manpower, machine capacity, material availability, WIP, and production performance.
* Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
* Ensure quality standards, SOPs, drawings, and customer requirements are followed.
* Control rejection, rework, downtime, material shortages, and production losses.
* Plan manpower and supervise production supervisors and shop-floor teams.
* Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
* Ensure workplace safety, PPE usage, 5S, housekeeping,



and statutory compliance.
* Implement *5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement* initiatives.
* Monitor operational KPIs, production costs, overtime, productivity, and machine utilization.
* Conduct daily/weekly operations review meetings and report performance to management.
* Ensure on-time delivery and effective utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

### Required Skills

* Strong manufacturing and shop-floor management experience.
* Positive knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
* Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
* Knowledge of *5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis*.
* Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
* Working knowledge of *MS Excel and ERP/MIS systems*.

### Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in *fabrication, machining, assembly, industrial equipment, automation, or engineering manufacturing* will be preferred.
