Job Overview

Catalyst Education is looking for a motivated and skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of networking concepts and hands-on knowledge of network infrastructure, hybrid cloud environments, and network security.

Candidates with CCNA, CCNP, or relevant networking certifications are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and related network infrastructure.

Monitor network performance, availability, and security.

Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, switching, and network-related issues.

Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network devices.

Work with Cisco networking technologies and enterprise network environments.

Support hybrid cloud networking and connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.

Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP as required.

Assist with network security, access control, VPNs, and firewall configurations.

Maintain network documentation, configurations, and technical reports.

Coordinate with IT teams to resolve infrastructure and connectivity issues.

Participate in network upgrades, migrations,



and infrastructure projects.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, VPN, routing, and switching.

Positive understanding of Cisco networking equipment.

Knowledge of network troubleshooting and monitoring tools.

Understanding of hybrid cloud networking.

Basic knowledge of network security and firewalls.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

CCNA – Preferred

CCNP – Advantage

Cloud certifications or experience with AWS/Azure are an added advantage.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.

Relevant networking certifications and practical experience will be considered an advantage.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on skills, experience, certifications, and technical knowledge.
