JOB SUMMARY

Catalyst Education is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our Calicut team.

The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, understanding their career goals, recommending suitable programs, managing leads, and converting enquiries into admissions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable educational programs.
- Handle enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other channels.
- Explain course details, benefits, fees, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents regularly.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions.
- Handle objections and provide appropriate solutions.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
- Maintain accurate lead and follow-up details in CRM.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Academic teams.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, career guidance programs, and promotional activities.




- Prepare regular reports on leads, follow-ups, counselling, and conversions.

REQUIREMENTS

- Any Degree.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Experience in EdTech, Academic Counselling, Education Sales, Inside Sales, or Telecalling is an advantage.
- Excellent Malayalam communication skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and convincing abilities.
- Good counselling, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Basic computer and CRM knowledge preferred.
