SENIOR LARAVEL DEVELOPER — TECH LEAD (BACKEND + REACT)

ABOUT US

We run two live production platforms: a CRM and business-automation SaaS product (lead capture, AI-driven customer replies, campaign automation, billing — web and mobile), and a separate AI content-generation platform where users generate video and images through multiple AI models on a credit-based system with real payment processing. Both are built on Laravel, both handle real client data and real money, and both need one person who can genuinely own the backend across both.

THE ROLE

This role owns the Laravel backend across both platforms end to end, leads the developers working under you, and can step into React or Flutter when something's genuinely on fire. You're the person both products depend on — if the backend breaks on either one, that's your call to make and your fix to ship.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Own the Laravel backend for both platforms — architecture, APIs, database design, queues, background jobs

- Lead and mentor the developers working under you — code reviews, technical direction, unblocking them fast

- Step into React when the front-end needs emergency coverage — a dedicated front-end developer owns day-to-day, but you can genuinely ship there

- Handle the Flutter mobile app's backend integration, and enough Flutter itself to unblock the team when needed





- Own payment and credit-system logic — webhook handling, ledger integrity, refunds, reconciliation, and the code that must never be wrong

- Own security-critical backend code — authentication, authorization, input validation, injection and business-logic risk, working with our security review process rather than around it

- Make real architecture decisions — what a senior owns, not what gets escalated to someone else

- Keep both codebases genuinely maintainable — the kind of code a new developer can actually work in, not just you

- Use AI coding tools as part of how the team works day to day — this team codes with AI, not despite it

- Own production support for both platforms — when something breaks, you're in it until it's fixed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 6+ years hands-on Laravel, with real, substantial production codebases behind you — not small projects

- Genuinely strong on MySQL — schema design, query performance, data integrity under real load

- Comfortable in React and Flutter well enough to actually ship in either when needed, even if Laravel is your core

- Has led or mentored developers before — code review, technical direction, not just writing your own code well

- Real experience with payment systems,



credit/wallet logic, or any domain where a bug means real money lost

- Comfortable working alongside AI coding tools as a normal part of the workflow

- Stayed 2-4 years at your last company or companies — we're not looking for someone who moves every year

- Can own a whole product's backend single-handedly if needed, while still building a team around you

BONUS POINTS

- Experience running two or more live products at once

- Some server/DevOps comfort—deployments, basic Linux, not just application code

- Experience with Inertia.js or a similar Laravel + SPA setup

- Experience with AI-model API integrations — image/video generation, LLM APIs, or similar

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

- Not a pure IC role — you're expected to build and lead a team, not just write code alone

- Not a role for someone who needs 1-2 years to "grow into" ownership — you own this from day one

- Not a job-hopper's stepping stone — this is a 2-4-year-minimum kind of hire, both ways
