Social Media Manager – Kannuru, BangaloreJob Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to take ownership of the school's social media activities in Kannuru, Bangalore.

The role requires a hands-on professional who can manage the complete social media workflow — content ideation, planning, coordination, execution, publishing, calendar management, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop creative content ideas and social media concepts
- Plan and manage weekly and monthly content calendars
- Take ownership of content execution and timely publishing
- Develop content around school events, student achievements, admissions, academics, and activities
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, and internal teams to execute content
- Coordinate captions, scripts, post copy, and other content requirements
- Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Manage day-to-day social media activities and campaigns
- Monitor trends and identify new content opportunities
- Track reach, engagement, followers, enquiries, and content performance
- Prepare basic reports and improve future content based on performance
- Manage multiple content activities and ensure deadlines are met

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Social Media Management,



Content Marketing, or Digital Marketing
- Proven experience in social media execution and management
- Strong experience managing content calendars, publishing, and campaigns
- Ability to take ownership from idea → planning → coordination → execution → posting
- Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple activities and deadlines
- Creative, proactive, and execution-focused

Note: Graphic design and video editing are not mandatory. The focus is on content ideation, social media management, execution, coordination, publishing, and performance tracking.

Preferred

- Experience in a school, education, or EdTech organization
- Experience coordinating with designers, photographers, videographers, or agencies
