JOB SUMMARY

Catalyst Education is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to manage and grow our social media presence.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, content creation, reels, social media trends, and audience engagement. Candidates with practical experience in EdTech or Digital Marketing will be preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage Catalyst Education's social media platforms.
- Create and execute monthly content calendars.
- Plan and publish posts, reels, stories, carousels, and promotional content.
- Create engaging content to increase reach, engagement, and student enquiries.
- Monitor current social media trends and implement relevant trends.
- Coordinate with the Content, Design, Video, and Marketing teams.
- Support social media campaigns for courses, events, seminars, and promotions.
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement.
- Track reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance.
- Prepare basic weekly and monthly social media reports.
- Research competitors and identify new content opportunities.




- Maintain consistent brand communication across social platforms.

REQUIREMENTS

- 6 Months – 1 Year of experience in Social Media / Digital Marketing.
- Hands-on experience managing Instagram and Facebook.
- Basic knowledge of LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Good understanding of reels, short-form videos, stories, hashtags, and trends.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of Meta Business Suite is an advantage.
- EdTech / Education industry experience is an added advantage.
