JOB DESCRIPTION – ER IN-CHARGE

Department: Emergency Room (ER)
Experience: 6+ Years preferred
Reporting To: Medical Superintendent / Hospital Administrator

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise day-to-day ER operations.
- Ensure prompt and quality emergency care for women and children.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, technicians, and other departments.
- Monitor staff duty rosters, attendance, discipline, and performance.
- Ensure availability and readiness of emergency medicines, equipment, and consumables.
- Ensure proper patient documentation, handover, and emergency records.
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, investigations, and referrals.
- Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, infection control, and patient-safety standards.
- Handle emergency situations and escalate critical issues appropriately.
- Prepare ER reports and support audits and quality-improvement activities.

Qualification: Relevant healthcare qualification with solid ER experience.

Key Skills: Leadership, emergency management, communication, coordination, decision-making, and team management.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9.0 per week
