Project Engineer – Real Estate

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to manage and coordinate real-estate construction projects from execution through completion. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, BOQ, BIM, AutoCAD, labour management, procurement, material planning, and contractor/vendor coordination.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in real-estate/residential/commercial construction projects and be capable of independently managing day-to-day site activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day construction/project execution activities at the site.
- Review and prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and quantity requirements.
- Read, understand, and coordinate engineering/construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural/design teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Review and coordinate BIM models/drawings with actual site execution.
- Plan and manage labour/manpower deployment according to project requirements.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors and monitor work progress.
- Prepare material requirements and coordinate procurement with vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain and compare vendor quotations and support rate negotiation.
- Follow up on material delivery and ensure availability as per project schedule.
- Monitor material consumption, wastage, and inventory at site.
- Check work quality and ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Track project progress against planned timelines and report delays/issues.
- Maintain daily/weekly project progress reports and site documentation.
- Coordinate with management regarding project status, material requirements, manpower, and site issues.




- Ensure proper coordination between different agencies working at the project site.

Mandatory Experience

Candidates must have hands-on experience in all five areas:

- BOQ – Preparation / checking / quantity estimation
- BIM – Working with BIM models/drawings
- AutoCAD – Reading/modifying/preparing drawings
- Labour Handling – Direct manpower supervision
- Procurement – Material purchasing/vendor coordination

Candidate Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in real estate/construction/project execution.
- Experience in residential or commercial real-estate projects preferred.
- Solid knowledge of construction processes, materials, drawings, and site execution.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to independently handle site activities, labour, contractors, materials, and vendors.
- Willingness to work from the Sovabazar, Kolkata location.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
