Hair Trainer – Glam International Academy (GIA)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Hair Trainer to train students in professional hairdressing, styling, treatments, and salon techniques through both theory and practical sessions.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct theory and practical classes in Hair & Hairdressing.

* Train students in cutting, styling, blow-drying, straightening, curling, and hair treatments.

* Teach hair colouring, highlights, bleaching, and basic colour correction.

* Demonstrate professional salon techniques and hygiene practices.

* Provide hands-on practical training and supervise students.

* Prepare lesson plans and practical demonstrations.

* Assess student performance and provide feedback.

* Maintain student attendance, practical records, and training progress.

* Stay updated with current hair trends,



techniques, and industry practices.

* Support academy workshops, events, and practical activities.

Requirements

* Qualified qualification/certification in Hairdressing or Cosmetology preferred.

* Minimum 2 years of professional salon/hair industry experience.

* Previous teaching/training experience is an advantage.

* Strong practical hairdressing and styling skills.

* Good communication and student-handling skills.

* Passionate, patient, creative, and professional.

* Ability to conduct engaging practical demonstrations.

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month
