- Assess patients’ physical condition, mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
- Review medical history, diagnosis, and physician recommendations before treatment.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide physiotherapy treatments such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and electrotherapy.
- Perform exercises to improve strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and mobility.
- Assist patients in improving posture, gait, and functional movement.
- Provide rehabilitation for orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, and post-operative conditions.
- Support patients in pain management and recovery from injuries.
- Teach patients and caregivers appropriate home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when required.
- Maintain proper documentation of assessments, treatment, and patient progress.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses,



and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Ensure secure positioning, transfers, and mobility assistance for patients.
- Educate patients regarding injury prevention, posture, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications.
- Follow hospital infection-control, safety, and clinical protocols.
- Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
- Identify any deterioration or complications and report them promptly to the concerned doctor.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Attend departmental meetings, training programs, and continuing education activities.
- Perform other duties related to physiotherapy services as assigned by the department head.
