- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, distributors, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct research and collate information relevant to cases and ensure that agreements comply with relevant laws and protect the company’s interests.
- Sending e-mails/post and making copies of legal documents
- Organize delivery of legal correspondence to clients, witnesses and court officials.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with laws governing direct selling, consumer protection, advertising, and data privacy.
- Prepare, update, and maintain internal policies, terms & conditions, and legal documentation for distributors, resellers, and partners
- Handle complaints or disputes from partners, distributors, or customers.
- Coordinate with external counsel for litigation, notices, or arbitration.
- Review marketing and promotional materials to ensure they meet legal and regulatory standards and monitoring distributor conduct, marketing claims, and compensation plans.
- Draft and maintain written agreements with all direct sellers/distributors, including transparent codes of conduct and compensation structures.




- Monitor and report on changes in Consumer Protection and Direct Selling laws and update policies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of distributors, complaints and resolutions to demonstrate compliance to regulator. Skills & Competencies:
- Sound knowledge of contract law, consumer protection and direct selling regulations.
- Experience drafting distributor agreements and reviewing compensation/commission plans.
- Ability to interpret and implement regulatory changes quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to train and advise internal stakeholders and distributors.
- Attention to detail and high ethical standards. Preferred Background:
- Law degree (LL.B.) with 2–5 years’ experience in corporate/commercial law.
- Exposure to FMCG, e-commerce or direct selling/MLM sector desirable.
- Familiarity with the Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021 and ASCI advertising guidelines
