1. Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer responsible for planning, supervising, executing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical systems at project sites and industrial facilities.

The candidate will coordinate with the Project Manager, Civil/Mechanical Engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and electrical subcontractors to ensure that all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Review and understand electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, specifications, and BOQs.
- Plan and supervise electrical installation and execution activities at site.
- Coordinate installation of LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, MCC/PCC panels, DBs, cable trays, cables, earthing and lighting systems.
- Supervise cable laying, glanding, termination, dressing, tagging, and testing.
- Ensure proper installation of electrical equipment and machinery connections.
- Coordinate electrical requirements for plant machinery and production equipment.
- Carry out load calculations and assist in electrical system planning.
- Monitor installation of lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and external electrical systems.
- Supervise earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers and OEMs during installation and commissioning.
- Conduct electrical testing and pre-commissioning activities.
- Identify electrical faults and coordinate corrective actions.
- Prepare daily progress reports, inspection reports, checklists, and testing records.
- Ensure electrical work is executed according to approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams for electrical interfaces and equipment foundations.
- Check quantities and specifications of electrical materials received at site.




- Support preparation and verification of electrical BOQs and material requirements.
- Monitor electrical subcontractors and ensure productivity and quality.
- Maintain project documentation, as-built drawings, test reports, and commissioning records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety requirements and site safety procedures.
- Participate in project inspections, testing, commissioning, and final handover.

3. E-Waste Recycling Plant Responsibilities

For an E-Waste Recycling Plant, the Electrical Engineer will additionally be responsible for:

- Electrical integration of recycling machinery and processing equipment.
- Power distribution planning for shredders, conveyors, separators, compressors, pumps, and other plant machinery.
- Coordination with machinery OEMs for electrical connections and control systems.
- Installation and troubleshooting of MCC, PCC, VFD, PLC, control panels, sensors and automation interfaces.
- Monitoring electrical loads of individual processing lines.
- Ensuring proper motor protection, overload protection, earthing, and cable sizing.
- Supporting plant commissioning and trial runs.
- Maintaining electrical equipment and minimizing plant downtime.
- Developing preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems.

4. Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Electrical supervisory/engineering certification, where required by applicable regulations.
- Knowledge of electrical construction, industrial installations, testing, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and site safety practices.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical/electrical drawings will be an advantage.

Experience

Experience: 3–8 years preferred, depending on position level.

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:
