JOB DESCRIPTION – SAFETY OFFICER

Location: Borivali, Mumbai

Experience: 1–5 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible Safety Officer to ensure workplace safety, identify hazards, prevent accidents, and maintain safety standards at the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular safety inspections of work areas, machines and equipment.
- Identify safety hazards and take corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by employees and workers.
- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks and safety training.
- Maintain safety registers, inspection reports and incident records.
- Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents.
- Monitor fire safety equipment and emergency exits.
- Conduct fire and emergency evacuation drills.




- Ensure contractors follow required safety procedures.
- Support statutory safety inspections and maintain EHS documentation.
- Coordinate with HR and management for safety compliance.

Qualification

Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, or relevant qualification.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of Industrial Safety & EHS practices.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of safety documentation and procedures.
- Basic MS Excel knowledge.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
