Job Brief:
The Program Lead will drive the strategic planning, quality delivery, scale, and
stakeholder engagement of the program. The role requires strong leadership to
ensure training excellence, partner success, operational effectiveness, data-driven
decision-making, and funder confidence. The Program Lead will serve as the central
anchor between partners, trainers, funders, and internal teams, ensuring that
program goals translate into measurable impact on the ground.
About the Team:
SeeAMilliom works towards empowering persons with Low Vision and blindness
through digital literacy. The team works closely with partners on the ground to
achieve this largely through Parivartan Centres.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Program Leadership & Quality Excellence:
- Drive the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of all training initiatives.
- Lead periodic program reviews to assess quality, progress, outcomes, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure training standards, methodologies, and delivery practices remain relevant, effective, and impact-oriented.
- Enable trainers and partner teams to perform at their highest potential through guidance, mentoring, and capacity-building support.
- Identify emerging challenges and opportunities and recommend timely solutions to strengthen program performance.
- Ensure action points from reviews are implemented and tracked to completion.
2. Partner Success & Ecosystem Building:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with partner organizations, creating a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Guide partners in maximizing resource utilization, program effectiveness, and community impact.
- Strengthen partner capabilities through regular engagement, reviews, and learning exchanges.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to partners, supporting problem-solving and decision-making.
- Facilitate alignment between organisational priorities, partner expectations, and program outcomes.
Strategic Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, sector leaders, ecosystem partners, and key stakeholders.
- Represent the program confidently across reviews, meetings, conferences, forums, and external platforms.
- Ensure stakeholders receive timely, meaningful, and impact-focused updates.
- Position the program as a credible and high-impact initiative within the ecosystem. Drive stakeholder engagement strategies that strengthen visibility, partnerships, and future opportunities.
4. Data, Impact & Performance Management:
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across the program.
- Ensure timely collection, validation, analysis, and utilization of program data.
- Monitor key performance indicators and track progress against program goals.
- Translate data into actionable insights, recommendations, and strategic decisions.
- Ensure CRM and reporting systems reflect accurate and up-to-date program information.
- Lead impact reviews and contribute to learning and continuous improvement.
5. Funder Relationship Management & Resource Mobilisation
- Support funder engagement through high-quality proposals, presentations, reports and impact communication.
- Ensure program commitments, deliverables, and reporting requirements are met with excellence.
- Work closely with finance teams to monitor utilization of funds and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to strengthening donor confidence through transparency, accountability and demonstrated impact.
- Identify opportunities for program growth, partnerships, and resourcemobilisation.
6. Communications, Knowledge & Visibility
- Lead the development of compelling program narratives, impact stories, case studies, and success stories.
- Build and maintain a solid repository of program assets, including photographs, testimonials, reports, and learning documents.
- Strengthen program visibility across digital platforms, events, publications, and stakeholder forums.
- Ensure communication materials are clear, consistent, and aligned with organisational messaging.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and knowledge products for diverse audiences.
7. Operational Excellence & Governance:
- Ensure smooth program operations through robust systems, processes, and review mechanisms.
- Drive accountability, ownership, and timely execution across teams and partners.
- Establish effective feedback and learning mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, reporting standards, and documentation requirements.
- Anticipate risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure business continuity.
Required qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Humanities Management, or a related field.
Required experience:
- 10+ years of experience in program management, partnerships, training, or social impact initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder programs and partnerships.
- Experience working with funders, NGOs, community organizations, or development sector initiatives is preferred.
