HOSPITAL TYPIST

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Hospital Typist to handle typing, documentation, data entry, and administrative support activities in a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and type hospital documents, reports, letters, certificates, and other official correspondence.
- Enter and update patient, departmental, and administrative data accurately.
- Prepare medical and administrative documents as instructed by doctors and hospital departments.
- Maintain proper records, files, and documentation.
- Handle day-to-day typing and documentation requirements of the assigned department.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff for required documents.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of all assigned work.
- Perform data entry and maintain electronic and physical records.
- Assist with other administrative and documentation-related tasks as required.

Requirements

- Qualification:



Plus Two / Diploma / Graduate.
- Hospital experience is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare organization will be required.
- Good typing speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and basic computer applications.
- Good English typing and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain patient and hospital information confidentially.
- Candidates with experience in hospital documentation and medical terminology will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of hospital procedures and documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Positive coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, punctual, and organized approach to work.
