Job Summary – Lathe Machine Operator

We are hiring an experienced Lathe Machine Operator to operate and set up conventional/CNC lathe machines for machining engineering components. The candidate should have positive knowledge of turning operations, engineering drawings, cutting tools, and measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and set up Lathe Machine / Heavy Duty Lathe Machine / CNC Lathe.
- Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, grooving, drilling and taper turning operations.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Set and align workpieces accurately using chuck, fixtures and other holding devices.
- Check component dimensions using Vernier, Micrometer,



Bore Gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Handle heavy components safely during loading and unloading.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to meet production targets.
- Follow machine safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.

Preferred Experience:
2–8 years of experience as a Lathe Machine Operator / Heavy Duty Lathe Operator / CNC Lathe Operator in heavy engineering, machine manufacturing or machine-tool industries.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
