Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, process-oriented Assistant Supervisor – Dispatch & Logistics to join our Electric Vehicle (EV) plant. In this role, you will manage finished vehicle outward operations, pre-dispatch staging, vehicle packaging, loading verification, and statutory transport documentation (E-Way bills, Delivery Challans, Invoices) to ensure zero transit damage and on-time dispatches to dealers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

- Vehicle Staging & Allocation: Coordinate with Production and PDI teams to take charge of cleared, road-ready electric vehicles and staging them for vehicle load plans.
- Dispatch Documentation: Generate and verify essential dispatch paperwork, including Delivery Challans (DC), Tax Invoices, E-Way bills, Gate Passes (NRGP/RGP), and Lorry Receipts (LR).
- Loading & Physical Inspection: Supervise vehicle packaging, protective wrapping, crating, and securing onto trucks, trailers, or container carriers to prevent transit scratches or transit damage.
- Vehicle Matching & Serial Verification: Verify vehicle VIN/chassis numbers, motor numbers, charger serial numbers, battery codes, key sets, tool kits, and warranty manuals against the dispatch invoice before gate-out.




- Transporter & Driver Coordination: Liaise with logistics partners, local transporters, and truck drivers for vehicle placement, timely container reporting, and route follow-ups.
- Yard Management & 5S: Maintain order in the finished goods (FG) yard, organize vehicle parking zones, and ensure 5S and security guidelines are strictly followed.
- ERP & MIS Reports: Update daily dispatch counts, vehicle dispatches, and pending dealer orders in the ERP/inventory software and MS Excel.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Logistics Engineering, or any Graduate (B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, Logistics/Supply Chain).
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in dispatch, logistics, shipping, or yard management.
- Industry Preference: Electric vehicle (EV 2W/3W), automobile OEM, auto-ancillary, or engineering manufacturing unit.

Skills

- Hands-on knowledge of dispatch paperwork: E-Way Bills, Delivery Challans, and Invoicing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and store/dispatch ERP modules.
- Strong vehicle loading, lashing, and driver coordination skills.
