Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management

· Execute the daily production plan to meet delivery timelines and project schedules.

· Supervise shop floor technicians, fitters, and wiremen during assembly and wiring.

· Interpret electrical schematics, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

· Allocate tasks and manage labor workflow efficiently to minimize idle time and reduce scrap.

Technical Execution & Quality Control

· Oversee busbar fabrication, component mounting, structural assembly, and control/power wiring.

· Perform routine in-process inspections to check for correct torque, alignment, and wiring accuracy.

· Coordinate final testing (including insulation resistance, high-voltage, and functional tests) before dispatch.

· Troubleshoot wiring errors or component placement issues during the assembly phase.

Inventory & Material Coordination

· Verify incoming materials and components against the BOM to ensure the correct ratings and quantities.

· Indent required materials from stores in advance to prevent production delays.

· Minimize material wastage and manage shop floor inventory efficiently.

Safety & Process Improvement

· Enforce strict shop floor safety protocols and ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).





· Implement 5S practices and Lean manufacturing principles to maintain a clean, organized workspace.

· Maintain detailed production logs, checklists, and quality documentation.

· Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or a closely related field).

· 2 to 5 years of core experience in LV/MV panel manufacturing or switchgear production.

Technical Knowledge

· Thorough understanding of LV panels, including Power Control Centers (PCC), Motor Control Centers (MCC), Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) panels, and Distribution Boards (DBs).

· Strong proficiency in reading electrical drawings, control circuits, and wiring schematics.

· Familiarity with switchgear components (breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, VFDs, and busbars) from major brands (e.g., Schneider, Siemens, ABB, L&T;).

· Knowledge of industry standards (such as IEC 61439 or local electrical codes).

Soft Skills

· Clear communication to guide technicians and coordinate with internal design and stores teams.

· Solid problem-solving skills to resolve technical or production bottlenecks quickly.

· Ability to work under pressure to meet tight project dispatch deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
